When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). When you use the resume builder, we store the content you enter (name, work history, skills, etc.) to provide the service. We do not collect payment information directly — billing is handled by our payment processor.
We use your information solely to provide the JobCV service: storing and displaying your resumes and cover letters, sending account-related emails (if email is configured), and improving the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your data is stored in a MySQL database on our server. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS to encrypt data in transit. Photos uploaded to the resume builder are stored as base64 in the database.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and an optional "remember me" cookie (30 days) if you choose that option at login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You can view, edit, or delete all your data at any time through your account settings. Deleting your account permanently removes all your resumes, cover letters, and personal information from our servers.
We use Google Fonts for typography, flag-icons (via jsDelivr CDN) for language flags, and html2pdf.js (via cdnjs) for PDF export. These services may log your IP address when loading their resources.
